About Me

Hi there! I'm a recent grad who just moved to London a couple months ago. If you want to learn more about why I made this website and what it's for, then I'd recommend checking out my first blog post. I'll leave this section for my interests and hobbies.

I was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, then after high school I attended the University of Chicago. I went in undecided, and tried every type of course I could: Comedies in Shakespeare, Ethnomusicology, and The Little Red Schoolhouse, a writing class, were a few I really enjoyed. I took seven Urban Design and Architecture courses, but I was caught in two minds at the time when I needed to choose a major to graduate in, and I chose computer science. I'm still very interested in the former, and would love to work at the intersection of the two fields in the future.

I've usually interested myself in every sort of thing, but recently I've started to read a lot more. In high school and even in college I never really read more than what I was assigned. But a couple years ago my grandfather gave me his Kindle, and its convenience led me to start reading some fiction. When I really started to love reading was with Murakami's Wild Sheep Chase, and that was maybe two years ago. Since then I've read and read, and I love reading now more than I ever have before, and I'm thankful for it.

All throughout my life I've practiced Kung Fu, which I also taught in high school. It became more difficult for me during college, but I always put in effort to practice on my own. I'd like to find a place to practice now, in London.
